  • Welcome to Ølmheim siderhage

    We are Sigrid and Endre, and we make handcrafted ciders in Sogn. Norway has the best apples in the world, and we want to share that with you. At Ølmheim siderhage, it will be pressed, tapped, fermented - and finally, enjoyed! In the steep slopes along the Sognefjord, there is fantastic opportunities for fruit cultivation. And in such a place, you’ll find Ølmheim siderhage. The farm has been in the Ølmheim family for over 300 years. We’ve always had fruit, but now it’s served in bottles.

  • Cider tasting and tour

    Join us for a cider tasting and tour of the apple orchard, the cider cellar and our production facilities. 1,5 hours of great atmosphere, insight into cider production, and of course delicious flavours. We offer a taste of three different ciders, and we finish the tasting with our signature cocktail. Children under 18 are welcome to join, free of charge. We can offer them an alcohol-free tasting of local drinks.

  • Visit our farm shop

    The farm shop is open Monday - Friday 8:30am - 8:00pm and Saturday 08:30am - 6:00pm.

    You can also find a self-serviced fridge filled with our non-alcoholic apple juice and, in season; fruit from det farm. Open 24h.

    Tart and dry cider without bubbles. A perfect balance between acidity and sweetness. Flavors of freshly picked apples, citrus, and pears.

Pét nat

    Tart and dry cider. Bottled and fermented in the bottle, resulting in natural bubbles. It is lightly disgorged, which gives it a slightly cloudy appearance. Fresh in style with flavors of apples, citrus, and fermentation aromas.

All our ciders can be purchased directly at the orchard during opening hours.

    Gravenstein
    6,5 % alcohol

    Second-fermented in the bottle and aged for 12 months on yeast. Natural bubbles from fermentation. Flavors of apples, apple peel, pear, tropical fruit, fermentation aromas, and aging aromas. Crisp in style and dry.
